One of the most frequently cited instances of paranormal activity in Howley centers around the grounds where Howley Hall once stood. Though the hall itself was largely dismantled centuries ago, persistent legends speak of a "White Lady" seen traversing the former estate, particularly near the ruined gatehouse and portions of the original walls. Witnesses describe a figure clad in period attire, often appearing translucent, who seems to glide rather than walk.
