Over centuries, various manifestations of unexplained phenomena Boxwell have been reported, primarily centered around its historic manor house, Boxwell Court, and the surrounding estate. The earliest documented accounts date back to the 17th century, detailing spectral sightings often associated with tragic events within the manor's history, such as untimely deaths or periods of civil unrest. These reports frequently describe fleeting apparitions, typically seen in corridors or specific rooms, often accompanied by a sudden drop in temperature or a pervasive sense of unease.

Accounts here often involve shadowy figures glimpsed at the periphery of vision, and occasionally, the unexplained appearance of strange lights or orbs. Some narratives even speak of phantom animals, particularly dogs, accompanying spectral figures. These phenomena are often localized to specific paths or ancient trees, suggesting a deep-rooted connection to the land and its history.
