Stories of tragic historical events, including untimely deaths and unrequited love associated with the former Bolstone Court, are often recounted as potential origins for the spectral manifestations. Some researchers investigating paranormal activity in Bolstone suggest that the area's geological composition, specifically its underlying limestone, might act as an energetic conduit, intensifying the unexplained phenomena.
