Witnesses have frequently described cold spots, disembodied voices, and unexplained movements of objects, particularly in residential properties dating back to the 19th century and the vicinity of the former Ellistown Colliery. One of the recurring themes in reports from Ellistown involves apparitions, often described as fleeting glimpses of figures or shadows in peripheral vision.
