Further instances of haunted Grimston are linked to the ancient footpaths and woodlands surrounding the village. There have been recurring reports of ethereal lights observed deep within the woods, sometimes described as moving erratically or appearing to hover above ground level. Local legends speak of a "spectral huntsman" whose horn can be heard echoing through the trees on moonless nights, though no physical source for the sound has ever been identified. Additionally, some residents have reported auditory phenomena, such as unidentifiable footsteps in unoccupied rooms, furniture moving on its own, and the faint melodies of archaic music emanating from empty dwellings. These figures are typically described as transparent or semi-transparent and often vanish abruptly when approached.
