One of the more well-known concentrations of paranormal activity Bakersfield is believed to be around the former site of the Bakersfield Lido and its surrounding parklands. While the Lido itself no longer exists in its original form, anecdotal evidence from long-term residents speaks of disembodied voices and spectral figures observed near where the old changing rooms once stood. Beyond specific locales, general patterns of paranormal reports across Bakersfield include recurring instances of electronic devices malfunctioning without clear cause, lights flickering or turning off and on autonomously, and pets reacting to unseen presences.
