One recurring theme in reports from Newthorpe involves alleged apparitions. Eyewitness accounts, primarily from residents and local historians, describe fleeting glimpses of figures or shadows in various locations, including former industrial sites and older residential streets. Such occurrences are typically isolated and sporadic, making conclusive investigation difficult.
