Eyewitness accounts predominantly describe ghostly apparitions, disembodied voices, and poltergeist activity within residential properties and historical buildings. One notable cluster of reports centers around the former Drakehouse Mill, an 18th-century structure repurposed multiple times, where staff and visitors have recounted experiences such as glimpsing shadowy figures in peripheral vision, sudden drops in temperature, and the sound of machinery operating despite being disconnected. These occurrences contribute to Drakehouse's local reputation for unexplained phenomena.
